I mean it’s virtually clear that every Motswana is sick and tired of “System e down” and now this? Yes you heard me right! Government shutdown most of its service outlets this morning. Today marked a historic moment (unpleasant) when Botswana government was reported to have experienced cyber-attacks. Most, if not all government service outlets have been closed country wide due to alleged cyber-attacks that happened this morning. This will remain the status quo until the threat has been neutralised. We are hoping a press release will be in order to give the deserving general public a peace of mind of all this chaos.  African countries are highly prone and susceptible to cyber-security threats due to their infancy in technological development. Hopefully this experience will awaken the African continent to tighten its security measures.
