#Pieoneers

Looking at her laid there peacefully
Got tears streaming down my cheeks
I took another look at her but this time carefully
Remembering how she fought the good fight
A journey of radiotherapy cut short by a mastectomy
Despite being a slave to all these tumours..
Having to shave her head bald and put up with all the rumours
She bravely fought the immortal cells for years
And yes, the first time I discovered that these carcinogens took residence in her bloodstream
My heart pounded with fear and nothing seemed clear
Realizing that her time was near
Got me overwhelmed with resignation and resentment
The feeling got me numb, nerve impairment

I hope you understand why I get a sore sight
When these lads ignite a cigarette and act like it’s so right
Watching as their innocence get corrupted
When they whistle out the smoke out of their fragile lips
Living cadavers that have death at their finger tips
Subconscious, they cannot even feel the guilt trip
As they leave "space" for hip...pot
And make "shotguns" and "trigger"
Cannabis sativa...

Apparently it triggers "cell suicide"
Death worshiped as a healing plant..
When it collides with mutated cells, tumours comply
This is just a lie we are made to believe...
Sativex...no pain relief
Rick Simpson prophesied that we are Running From The Cure that's not even there
Just a "rich chancer” who fought skin cancer
Unpredictable prognosis and diagnosis
Cancer is no bed of roses...
A silent killer leaving us grasping for air in despair
As we helplessly watch our loved ones die
Without a week passing of us saying "bye"

Let's stop watching our loved ones die helplessly
Take action while there is still time..
